Andrea Roberto, born in Foggia (Italy) October 26, 1995, began studying guitar at age of 4 with his father. At 9 years old he was admitted to the conservatory “U. Giordano” in the class of the guitarist Sandro Torlontano with whom he began a particular educational path that led him to achieve, at age of 14, the diploma with honors. Subsequently he decided to follow the teacher Aniello Desiderio both in Naples and at the International Academy of Koblenz in Germany. At last he completed his studies at the conservatory of Maastricht (Netherlands) with the teacher Carlo Marchione.
In his artistic path we enumerate many experiences and prizes which took him to perform in several countries among which: Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Mexico, Argentina, Brasil and United States.
In May 2006 he received the “INNER WHEEL ITALY” as the best student of the Conservatory of Foggia.
In June 2010 he won the 11Th national contest ” Valter Cococcia” to the youngest graduate of all conservatories in Italy with the highest grades.
In May 2012 he was selected among the 15 most talented guitarist in the world to partecipate in the Parkening International Guitar Competition becoming the youngest ever in the story of the competition.
In December of 2012 he won the first prize at the 2nd International Competition of the Adriatic – Pescara.
In May 2013 he won the third prize at the 42th International Competition “F. Sor”- Rome.
Injuly 2013 he won second prize at the 19th International Competition of Mottola.
In October 2013 he won the first prize at the 4th International Competition of Pisa ” Stefano Strata”
In November 2015 he attained the second prize at the international competition of Aachen – Germany
In february 2016 he got the second prize at the international competition of Essen – Germany
In April 2016 he obtained the first prize at the International Competition of Twents – Netherlands
In June he received the second prize at the International competition Alirio Diaz in Rome- Italy
In July 2016 he won the first prize at the International competition Jose Tomas – Villa de Petrer (Spain).
